Just a reminder for those who will be coming up early. The first event is a week from tommorrow.  Cachin' Stories around the Lean-to (GC2NN35).
Bluegirl and I have set ~22 new geocaches thus far, and we still have about 10 new Lock-n-Lock containers to go out on Saturday and Sunday. (All the caches from last years event are still out there for all the new comers who haven't done these caches yet.  All the Cache coordinates will be giving to Timpat on Monday morning for the large event map.  REMINDER: If you haven't made your geocache container for the contontest yet, you still have 10 days to the main event on Saturday the 25th.  There is still room left in the local hotels if anyone is looking for a room.  If you haven't RSVP'd me regarding your attendance at the catered luncheon, please do so. I will be giving the caterer a final count on Friday. Of course i will pad it alittle for those extras <smile>. We are at approximately 75 for the catered lunch thus far.

The Shamrock Hotel has had a cancellation and has 1 motel room and 1 efficiency room still available.

As far as when the caches will be released, i haven't yet decided. I will soon!

Count is upwards around 80 +....I have got 20 Caches in the Queue and 10 Lock N Locks & 1 Micro left to go out this weekend.  I am also hoping to have a disabled cache up and running in the next couple of days (yes, that one Tom!).

Bluegirl has set 2 caches, Geosliders have set some caches, and Oxyperious has set some caches as well.

Missing TB (At Mid-winter Geocaching event)

I recieved this message from a cacher (KDR72). If anyone knows the whereabouts of this cachers TB, please contact the cacher. THANKS!

"Hi there. One of my trackables was dropped at the event and then the event was archived so i received a notice. What happens to my trackable? It is a red beanie baby bear named Osito the bear. Thanks."

Me bad....One of these days I will actually get to finish logging in all the caches that I've done since November 2010 and that includes TB's.  I remember picking up a red beanie baby bear at the event in Long Lake.  Just haven't done any logging yet.

Maybe I'll get the urge this weekend to finish logging before the next full season starts.  :)

Heh, I haven't even logged my TBs from ASP Geobash last summer. Of course, I logged the ones I TOOK at least :D
