TB Race 2050: Start Your Engines!

Date: Sunday, July 19, 2009
Time: 5:00 pm to 7:45 pm
Location: Saw Mill Creek Shelter on the north end of Onondaga Lake Park

This event will be the kickoff of TB Race 2050, a travel bug race starting in the Syracuse, NY area. Travel bugs will race to a specific cache in Surprise, AZ. Prizes will be awarded at a "finish line" event in the summer of 2010. See below for additional race details. The event itself will take place at the posted coordinates, which is at the Saw Mill Creek shelter in Onondaga Lake Park in Liverpool, NY. Parking is very close, and using the "Driving Directions" feature on the site will take you right there.

As an FYI, I posted a bunch of prizes for the TB Race itself. Some of these prizes (mostly the non-trackable prizes) may be given away at the event. I just received another package yesterday and we have one more prize in the list! Unless there are many, many entries, it looks like everyone should win a prize worth $10 or more. Not too shabby for a race with a $0 entry fee :)
