Bluegirl and I would like to thank everyone who came to our humble little Hamlet of Long Lake this year for the 4th Annual Mid-Winter Geocaching Get-Together. We had a total of 87 participants this year. Words can't express the deep appreciation Bluegirl and I feel for your support in attending this event after all the work we did to make it such a success. We would like to especially thank the Town of Long Lake for their outstanding support of this event, Phyllis & Bill from  the Internet Cafe in Long Lake for a great meal, the following geocachers (Rusty-O-Junk, GPSGuy, Boner21s, and of course Bluegirl) for the pre-event placement of geocaches for all to enjoy. These geocachers help truly reduced the stress and time i needed to take off from work to prepare for this event. Thanks Guys. Also, a big thank you to the those geocachers who set additional geocaches during the event and thereafter. Thanks to Daddy Geoslider and all responsible for the Engagement Card. It was a very warm gesture and deeply felt by Blueigrl and Myself. And of course let me not forget to thank all who donated to this event. All the Online vendors and local vendors.....THANK YOU VERY MUCH!  We hope you all had a wonderful time in Long Lake and would consider visiting us again!

I'm assuming you are referring to your mid-winter event Smiley

The people in the video or photo should be festive. Be inventive! But please keep it family friendly.
Define "festive". Apparently they know of one definition of "festive" that is not family friendly?  Shocked Cheesy

This one is fast approaching.  Seems like a really good turn out expected.  I plan on getting to Ithaca early and doing the nessary requirements for a Well Rounded Day.  Found a Earth Cache that does not require a picture, and solved a few puzzles.   Just hope for good weather!

I completely blanked on the entire event being that day. The boys had their first soccer games that morning and I was so tired I just vegged out. Didn't realize it until I read a log from one of my hides and a had to do a forehead slap. Oh well, I'll be at the 20 year event.
