Pupkin King's Quack Attack
« on: August 11, 2010, 22:43:55 »
Anyone up for a short paddle?  Check this out-hasn't been found in years, only because no one has looked for it, but Ryman6 and I plan to head up there. . . possibly next week.  Company welcome.

Are you talking weekday or weekend? Do you have extra boat spots?

Yeah, that makes things tough for those of us who aren't old enough to be retired yet!

On behalf of Guliver and myself, I challenge thee.....

Seriously, it's a great cache trip.  The immediate area is remote, but there is ample civilization all around within less than 10 miles.  It's surprising how little activity it gets, other than the need for a sturdy "flotation device"
On my honor, I will do my best...

Maybe we could go late in the day. .. like at 5.  I don't think it's a long paddle, just a long drive!

One wonders if this cache is still available at ground zero, just displaced by about -20 feet vertically.  I don't even want to know what's at the bottom of this pond.  But maybe someone else should visit and take along one of those lift magnets and a length of rope, and see what happens.
On my honor, I will do my best...

That's a definite possibility.  The hook is still there, but not anything else.

Ooh, sounds like Mad as a Hatter...except that one's probably not hanging out below somewhere.
