I guess I can deal with seasonal dirt roads in May. . . just not 4 wheeling. . . be kind to we old folks!

Yes, and when I did mine I made lots of use out of the 2 sticky topics "Lessons: What Worked" and "Lessons: What Needed Improvement". And if you need additional tips, feel free to ask me, LCSM, and mermaidb50 as we have run the last 3.

June 4th is Taste of Syracuse weekend. I think I have an idea. Does everyone like bananas? My idea is unoriginal but looks like a lot of fun. If you checkout The Podcacher site for the flash mob, it has a great video of a Banana Phone Flash Mob. At the appropriate time, everyone starts "talking" or "texting" on their banana. It'd be great to see people enjoying the various food vendors while talking on their high-tech banana phone.

Let me know what you think of this idea. If it sounds ok, I'll get the event together and published. I've been reading the articles mentioned. I haven't attended a flash mob event before so I apologize if I start bugging you with questions.

Yes, sounds good. The only catch is finding a spot to park to get to the event area on time. No slacking this year, I guess!

I will have the event posted soon.  But good news, if you haven't heard, Groundspeak is creating a WWFM souvenir.  So, if you log an "attended" to the flash mob event, you'll receive the souvenir.

I attempted to post the event tonight, but am getting a Groundspeak error.  So, I'll try again tomorrow.

Is there any template or secret to creating a fancy cache page?  I know basic HTML, but was wondering if there's something I should follow.

Also, I'll be looking for a few volunteers to help me out at the event.  I'll be looking for:
- a photographer
- videographer
- a log hander-outer
- a timer

I was able to get the event posted. I wonder if I hit the 40 minute timeout and that's what was causing problems. Anyway, just waiting for ST to review and publish it.
