Author and Post Count are pretty obvious, and I guess Post Group is some sort of grouping depending on how many posts one has made. But what's a Member Group? (Which I don't seem to have, but some do, I guess?) And what do the little icons mean?

For almost every user, the Member Group is not displayed. In your case, you are not in a membergroup and therefor have "regular user" access.

The Post group is based on number of posts in valid categories and the grouping goes in order: Muggle, Newbie, Geocacher, Power Cacher, Crazy Cacher, & Geocaching Addict
The icons below that are also based on number of posts. Muggles get the DNF face and Newbie on up get an increasing number of smileys. Users in Member Groups get whatever I feel like giving them

There is also a "Title" field that displays. Mine is "DNF King" and I added one to your profile, too. Click "Profile" then "Forum Profile Information" and look for "Custom Title". If you don't see any of those options I may have disabled it.

The other icons are to view profile, view website, send e-mail, send private message, etc.

I got really scared when I saw the definition, because I knew I had an Uber Cacher setting, but I thought it might have gotten changed. . . afterall, I haven't yet found that 1/1 cache that has not yet been posted!

Uber Cacher is the Member Group that you're in that allows you to delete spam.

I'm sure the admin who came up with these titles could modify them any way he chooses

Spam deleting is a good thing to have, it appears many of the new members are spam couriers. Thanks for recently putting your power into play L !
