Ok so Rochester has been flooded with challenge series after challenge series. I'm not going to start one of those but I am slightly inspired by them. As soon as I can get them lined up I will be releasing a set of caches of increasing difficulty. It will start with a D/T 1/1 and progess up to a 2/2 and so on up to a 5/5. I hope to get good participation and feedback. It will more than likely involve puzzles and multis and kayak/ canoe caches as well as a few things I've got up my sleeve. Keep your eye out for the So You Think You Can Cache series...

I have a "series" planned as well but the series is only loosly connected and I am slow and lazy when it comes to putting out caches. But I do love puzzles.

Its interesting that you say that given the lack of puzzle caches in the area... I like them but they do reach a point of being ridiculous... in my opinion the rochester area is getting to many puzzles.... but some are very cleaver...

Advance publicity now? Hm, looking forward to seeing the trailer for this cache.

I have finally heard back from the DEC and they don't know anything about any geocaches in WMA's in the area and they sent me some form for using state land but I'm supposed to show proof of a crazy amount of liability insurance and its a very generic form I dont think they even bothered to try and find out what a geocache was... I'm going to be going out after work to remove it until I get some of my questions answered and I'll be trying again here pretty soon to get this series rolling... sorry for the build up and then the let down...

I've moved the cache and hopefully I will get approval to publish it within the next 48 hours. I'm still going to try for permission to my original spot and just use it as a starting point or a part of a multi or something... keep your eyes peeled in the next few days...
