First things first. Here's a photo of this SOB. It's directly from an article
the Rome Sentinal did about his son. Paul Repak is the guy on the right...
http://www.romesentinel.com/dailyImages/2009/04/14/20090414-085142-001_medium.jpegWhether or not this is actually a "crime" is debatable. We geocachers are leaving
things behind in public areas. We're walking away from them and are relinquishing
our rights to them, all on the expectation that nice people will find them and
follow the rules we've set up. Technically, I'm not sure it's theft.
With that being said, there MAY be some other crimes that he can be charged
with, like being a public nuisance; don't know, since I'm not a lawyer. At the
very least, I'm HOPING that he loses his security clearance at the lab. To work
at AFRL's Information Directorate, he's almost certainly got a Top Secret
clearance.
Lovely, eh? Here's some SOB that takes a perverse delight in ruining other
people's good natured fun, all on the sly, while outwardly presenting himself
as an avid outdoorsman. So what's he likely to do with gov't secrets? Treat
them with any more respect?
