The Degree Confluence Project
« on: January 09, 2010, 12:30:22 »
The Degree Confluence Project is not a geocaching site, but it's totally up our ally. It is based on the latitude and longitude integer degree intersections from around the world. Much like virtual caches featuring specific locations. Many interesting photos and stories are posted for each location.   ;D    http://www.confluence.org/index.php

Yes, a fun site indeed. Most of us have been to at least one confluence: 43/76 :)

I remember once reading about a confluence in Florida where the actual confluence was about 20 feet on the other side of a fence. It was private property, the confluence was over water (a pond) and it was believed there were alligators in there. They just took a picture from the fence :)

How unimaginative-especially when we have a local cacher who would havee donned both his invisashorts and his ninja apparel to attack the location. . .
