« on: May 28, 2009, 17:59:01 »
WANTED: E-TREX partOn the E-Trex, there is a piece of rubber that wraps around the entire gps.  It also has built-in rubber buttons.  One of my buttons broke off and is driving me CrAzY!!!  LOL  ::)  Did anyone hold onto there old E-TREX and it's just sitting around taking up space in a drawer somewhere?  If so, please email me... dejr@twcny.rr.com

You could just send it back to Garmin and they may just send you a new one!

Yeah, my eTrex has a problem with the glue not holding any more for that band of rubber around the outside. It's a common problem, I guess.

I thought I contacted Garmin through their support website, but haven't gotten a response back.

I would, except it's the only GPS I have!  ;)

I had major withdrawal from my Colorado when I had to use my E-trex while the new one was in the shop.  You just have to get a good friend to take you caching so you don't have to sit home the whole time waiting. . .
