« on: January 24, 2010, 19:25:37 »
Got a Delorme Earthmate PN-40 for xmas. It's sweeter than I could have hoped for.
Also, check out my bands http://www.myspace.com/plainmanbrown or http://www.myspace.com/rippleton.
Whooo, see you on the hunt!

The more I use this gps, the more impressed I am. I love the field notes feature. I'd like to know how Kai Team gets their logs to show the number per day and time etc... Any ideas?

Check out a program called GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife) to see how Kai Team does the logging.  The program is awsome and well worth the time to learn if you plan on geocaching for the long haul.  The program is free with a nag screen, but you will pay for it after using it for a bit because it is that good.  GSAK is basically a database for caches, but users can create macros to do just about anything.  Kai Team builds macros for GSAK and is on the forums there to help anyone with there own macros, the community is very very helpful.  Hope this helps answer your question.

True! I'm a cheapo, and even I paid for GSAK.

My GSAK pitch can be found here. :)

It is called 'Feildnotesimportandlog' .  Look that up on the master index and scroll down for the latest version.  Works for the garmins and the delormes.  I use it all the time and it works great.  Using it on a Colorado 400t but no reason to think it works differently for anything else.  Link is below.

Yes, I have a Colorado, too, and the time and date show up in the field notes file
