Congratulations to mandmsyr, who reached 1,000 this week when she found EMGT – Coldspring – TUNESASSA (GC1R0T6) on 5/15/09, the weekend of ASP Geobash!

Team Senagals reached today the 1000 caches milestone. While they were in the good mood of cacing they added 16 more caches to it, totally 33 finds for the day. Their achievements last couple of weeks is extraordinary, especially when you realize that they did it after Mr. Senegals had serious health problems.
We (and we are sure all CNY fellow cachers) wish you many happy caches and steady health, Team Senegals!

Please add GC1Z0M1, Cheryyll's Golden Ammo to the list.  Also, I don't think you have some of the southern GAC's listed, but the following cachers have them: Scuba Chris, Hours Together, Woodland Clan, Vanelle, Ithacadoodle. . .it goes on and on.  Oh, is Sekmet on there?

Woodland Clan started this idea here a number of years ago.  I think Team Ferret has a platinum ammo from when they hit 5000.  There are different customs in different parts of the country, which is probably why TDLover doesn't have a GAC.  They spend so much of their time in Arizona where they don't place GAC's that people here who knew them well probably thought they would have one out in Phoenix.  In Nashville, cachers honor each other with a cache for hitting 1000, but it isn't an ammo can.  One that I went to was in an area that really needed CITO, and it was in an old plastic container hidden under a black garbage can.  Yuck!

A GAC in Phoenix might actually be difficult to find!  Grin
