Hi there !  just stopping in to say hello.  still don't have a gps unit, and haven't found any caches..
but I WILL !!!  a gps is on my birthday list so hopefully i will be out searching soon !!
until then, be safe, and as always, respect the earth, cache in, trash out !!

Hello dandeliongirl. It's great to see you so excited about geocaching even before you've found one! :)

Sounds like you're in the same neck of the woods I am in -- I am in the end of L'pool that people tend to think of as N Syr.

For nearby caches, Tri-Town Treasure is a nice first cache, so long as it's still there!

If you love scavenger and/or treasure hunts then you're going to love this.  I got a GPS for Xmas and FINALLY got a chance to go geocaching (now that spring is here).  I did my first four caches over the weekend and it was great.  My first cache was even a microcache!  ;-)
