I live in the valley area of syracuse, and received a gps for Christmas.  Does anyone else own a delorme pn-40? I would like to meet other people as they geocache and learn what it's all about.

Welcome, sfdcar3d! I don't own one, but I think the Delorme PN-40 is a popular model. Perhaps someone in the area has one.

I live up in Liverpool, but I am at Meachem regularly during the hockey season.

Are you playing in a league there? The rink is home for our team. We have the ice every Wed. morning. What days are you there?

I think rjw661 caches with the pn-40. You can contact him from the geocaching site. I'm sure he would offer any help you may need.

RJW661 lives in Boonville but does come out to the Syracuse area frequently.   And Yes, he does own a PN-40 and LOVES it!!!!
