Hi from Teal Ave in Syracuse!

Been caching since May 2011 and have racked up around 350 finds, mostly around Syracuse and Utica.

Oh yes--i see the power of the Novac now..do you find that you are pretty much tapped out in CNY in terms of caches to find without traveling 20-30 miles? That's my biggest fear when i get to the 1000 mark.....

Welcome to the forums!!! I'm sitting at 3700 and I still have loads to find in Syracuse & Utica/Rome area. Geocachers just keep placing more new ones everyday it's hard to keep up!!!

No, you've got to get more than 1k to have a 20-30 mile radius, or you have to get to 1k very quickly.

I just slowed down because I decided to start budgeting my money and start paying off all my debt. Also, there's an app on my phone that factors in gas mileage, the price I just paid for gas, and the mileage traveled, which tells me exactly how much a given trip would cost. :O
