Hello CNY
« on: April 01, 2011, 19:22:00 »
Hello Everyone,

I'm currently living in Rochester but have done a fair bit of caching out Syracuse way, because my GF lives in Syracuse, and I'm going to be moving out to Syracuse pretty soon. I've been caching for 5 or 6 years. Currently I have 1051 finds and 0 hides. I enjoy the georoc, Rochesters Geocaching Web Community, and since I'll be in CNY soon I thought I'd check this one out. I enjoy caching a lot and am currently working on getting a cache-a-day. So far, Apr 1 2011, I have found at least one cache every day since January 3. The only day I havent found one on this year is January 2. Other than that I enjoy getting out and hiking or kayaking or basically anything I can do outside. I look forward to getting even more geocaches in the CNY area.

Have you met hubbye? :)

It's good to see you on the boards. We're not as active as the georoc boards as you can see, but some of us visit every so often. Be sure to join the Facebook group of the same name!

That's a great caching streak you have going. The rough weather conditions are now behind you, no more digging! This location provides fairly quick access to many areas, and a nice variety of terrain. When it comes to caches we have something for everyone in CNY.

I hope to put out a couple hides pretty soon a couple in Rochester and some in Syracuse... Hopefully I'll be able to bring a couple kinds of hides syracuse hasnt seen too many of before... I've got some ideas just gotta get boots on the ground to find some places... your cache density is nothing compared to Rochester... ;)
