Yet another new guy....
« on: October 30, 2010, 18:15:35 »
Oh yea, newby...   Just started last week.  I have been a member of the geocaching.com for about a year or so.  I never hunted for or set any out.  Well, last week I found an old Blazer 12 I had for hunting and that did it.  Now that I'm retired I have some time on my hands.  I went out to find some,  found none.  Set one out near my house and three people have already found it. I guess the statement goes  something like this   " hooked"  lol.    geo315.

Welcome geo315!  Caches are easier to find once you get several under your belt. You get the basics down on how they are set up. Some of the non-typical hides can be stumpers, but that's what makes it fun. Feel free to ask other cachers if you could use some extra clues, folks are always glad to help out! Good luck with the hunts!  ;D

Sorry for the late reply-and welcome to the caching community. . . I agree with WeputtSC. . . the more you find the easier it becomes. . . although every so often someone will place a cache that is completely opposite of what you have come to expect, and usually it's a newbie that finds it easily, so don't get discouraged.
