Yet another
« on: March 07, 2011, 14:58:48 »
Hi, I just registered here. Found my first geocache in 2006, by accident (I was looking for a place to plant a letterbox, found a great spot, it even had some debris to cover the letterbox up... wait a second... looks a little like... oh.) I didn't get a GPSr and go looking for one deliberately until last spring, though. I found 85 caches last year, and 22 benchmarks, some of them with my son K of NY (age 11), but haven't attempted any over the winter. And judging from what I see out the window this morning, probably not for the next few days either... No caches planted, though I've released a couple of travel bugs one of which is now in Minnesota and the other in Portugal. I'm on Onondaga Hill.

I have been slacking off as well. And I have found a few letterboxes in my geocache searches!

I have a 9 year old (and 5 year old) who come with me.
