There are a bunch of us on FB. As far as a group for CNY? I'll look into creating one at some point.

I haven't been able to find anyone local on FB yet, but I joined the main geocaching page. Spring is springing, time to cache! =)

I was in Ilion a few weeks ago for work. It's easy to get there: Get on the Thruway, keep driving until you're farther than you ever want to be, keep going another hour, and then get off the thruway Tongue

RicochetInfinity's hockey season wraps up this weekend, so hopefully next week I will get a chance to post the event for The Spot, post updates for TBR2050, and get the FB group set up. After that, I might be able to actually geocache.  Shocked

Ilion is only an hour from Syracuse!   I know this because I live in the very next town!!!!    Smiley    Herkimer has LOTS of caches!!!!!  Hint! Hint! Hint!

OK, I should have mentioned "driving somewhere near the speed limit". Once you're on the Thruway just north of Green Lakes State Park, THEN you need to drive an hour to Ilion Smiley
But I know how it is when you live too far past a city -- you always lowball the driving time Tongue
