Disclaimer: I cannot vouch for meetup.com or The Syracuse Area Outdoor Adventures Club. I'm just sharing/asking about this group that I have had no contact with.

I was searching Google the other day and found "The Syracuse Area Outdoor Adventures Club" on meetup.com.

This group is for people who want to get out there, have some fun, and meet others with similar interests. We are first and foremost a group of people who enjoy outdoor adventures and local explorations. We have both regularly scheduled activities like hikes, bike rides and happy hours as well as a variety of exciting outdoor adventures that vary by time of year. Some possibilities: hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, camping, white water rafting, biking, skiing (both downhill and cross-country), backpacking, snowshoeing, hang gliding, rappelling, creekwalking, geocaching or anything else the group wants to try! We even plan overnight trips for those who'd like to indulge in a longer adventure. It's your adventure club?what do YOU want to do?!

I looked at the calendar and some of the events sound interesting. I thought it might appeal to geocachers who enjoy hiking through the woods and doing other "outdoorsy" stuff.

Has anyone done anything with this group?
