Geocaching.com changed their look this month. How do you think the look and feel of the site stacks up with the previous setup?

To my mind what geocaching.com really needs is not a new look but a ground-up redesign — not that that's going to happen. It's a disorganized mess of a site.

Anyway, nothing really elicits strong feelings either way in the new design. I do think the new maps user interface is badly thought out. Particularly the small icons they switch to as you zoom out — first, they switch too soon, at a scale where the big icons would still be useful (in fact I think the big icons are probably fine at any scale, but in any case they should be used until you're looking at something a good deal larger than 10 miles by 10 miles); second, they're rather hard to interpret, bare blobs, poorly designed.
