Many people despise the LPS (lamp-post skirt) hides, but many people also appreciate having something quick to do on a lunch break or while waiting for the spouse to shop in a nearby store. Some hate figuring out puzzles while some say that virtual and locationless caches are pointless.

But what do you really enjoy? Which of the cache types is your favorite? Since "traditional" is so general, I split it into three groups: sneaky micro hides, easy micros (LPCs), and ammo cans (hides in the woods).

My favorite cache type is the event. While I enjoy hiking and finding sneaky hides and such, I really do enjoy hanging out at events and sharing geocaching stories. You're all a bunch of geeks! . . . and that's why I have so much fun at events.  Grin So from a relatively anti-social person like myself, that's saying something.  Cool

Aaargh! Well, that's what happens when RicochetInfinity has an 11:00 soccer game that I had to help coach . . . and the WWFM event is only 15 minutes. I stuck around the WHOLE time!  Cool

We like the "hike thru' the deep woods and find an ammo can" caches. Also, cemetery caches and night caches. Micros, urban & suburban caches hold little interest and I rarely go after them. Bleh. Puzzle caches drive me nuts! They make me grind and gnash my teeth! I wish I was smart enough, or had enough patience, to figure 'em out, but I don't. I have great respect for them tho'. For someone to come up with these convoluted schemes in the first place, and then for others to figure 'em out, phew!
