So this summer I am hoping to kick off a new TB Race. The theme of this race will be an "oversized" theme. Examples of this I have seen before are bowling balls, giant wooden utensils, cinder blocks, typewriters, and flamingo lawn ornaments. So instead of racing to a destination like last time, they will be on a race to be seen.
I know that points will come from multiple categories but the "big point" categories will be event attendance and discovery. After all, the point of novelty TBs are that many people get to see them.
One thing I would really like input on is the restrictions on what is allowed to enter. I am thinking that there should be a weight OR height/length minimum on each entry...so for instance a TB can only be entered if it weighs ten or more pounds or if it is longer than two feet in its smallest form (sorry, I'm not allowing a tape measure or ball of twine or anything tricky like that). In your opinion, what should the minimum weight and minimum length/height actually be? It has to be something inconvenient -- I want husbands to reach out to take it from an event and I want the wife to tell him, "There's no WAY we're taking that home!"

And best of all, I want these items to be real discussion pieces at events...("Did you see that ______ at the TB table?!?")
If you have any other ideas on how this race might be better managed, please post here and let me know!
