Yes, it definitely does. Especially if you have a few tb's with you and you don't want to try to read the numbers on them again and again. (and yes, I realize that I'm showing how blind I am. . . .but that's nothing new!) They also tell you want day you found a cache so if you get a notification that a cache has been moved or archived, you don't have to check to see if you've already been there.
